Laying the Right foundations
We here at Liberty Christian School strive to educate the elementary students in our care in the rudimentary academics of Reading, English, Arithmetic, Bible, Science, and History through a Biblical Worldview. We also expand their young minds in elective subjects such as Music, Computers, PE, Art, Health, and Spanish all through a Christian view. The elementary students at our school get multiple teachers throughout the day providing a variety of teaching styles and personality.
Our elementary school uses a Christian, faith-based curriculum which includes ACSI Purposeful Design, A Beka, and BJU Press.
Elementary Curriculum Emphasis
PHONICS
Kindergarten through Second Grade students are taught phonics to help them become better readers.
READING
We strive to encourage our students to become life-long readers.
ENGLISH
We encourage our students to write, write, write as well as learn the basics of grammar.
MATH
We teach our students the fundamentals of Math so they have a foundation to build on in later years.
HISTORY
We explore History through a Biblical perspective with our students.
SCIENCE
Our students get some hands-on experiences in learning the whys and hows of Science.
BIBLE
Our students learn about God’s Word and how they can apply it to their lives through Bible lessons, memorization, discussions, and chapels.
